Livery and Facilities

Inadown Livery has been running alongside the riding school for over 15 years. Inadown offers a variety of Livery Packages which can be tailored to suit the specific requirements of you and your horse.

We turn out all year round, in summer horses are turned out at night and brought in in the day, in winter out in the day and in at night. Unlike some yards, the school (and jumps) can be used free of charge, providing there are no lessons taking place there. To find out when the school is free, just call the yard and we will be able to tell you. We also have a solarium which is available to use inclusive of your package twice a month and thereafter requires a small charge. We have a wide range of showjumps including fillers and in the summer open up our cross country course including water, ditches etc.

Most liveries hack out together and pub rides are very popular during the summer months for adults. With so many public bridleways in the area, the possibilities to explore are endless. Staff members know several routes and will advise you if you are uncertain where to go.

Below are the livery packages we offer:

Full Livery

Inadown takes complete care of your horse including, mucking out, grooming, changing rugs, turnout and feed. Straw bedding and feed costs are included.

We will exercise to your requirements. Please ask for more details. We will also pull manes , tails if required. Clipping and turn out for shows/hunting can be done at an extra cost.

Part Livery

By arrangement of 5 or 7 days (5 days is mon-fri with a DIY basis at the weekend). Your horse will be mucked out, turned out and fed. Straw bedding and feed costs are included. If required exercise can be added on at an extra cost.

Working Livery

Your horse is stabled and the horse is used in riding school lessons and activities. The same is included as the part livery package. Horses may be booked out with prior warning if you wish to ride/compete.

Please note:

All new liveries are required to register with our vets and to use our farrier, who visits the yard weekly. This is for convenience to both yard staff and owners.

Worming is done by Inadown and is paid for by the horse owner. This is to ensure the same worming programme is kept by all horses.
